WE’VE LONG BEEN FANS OF CORNISH WINE SINCE DISCOVERING THE FRUITY, WELL BALANCED NOTES OF KNIGHTOR’S CARPE DIEM, AND CAMEL VALLEY’S BRUT, A PERFECT FIZZ. DURING A RECENT STAY, SOME WONDERFUL GUESTS INVITED KATE AT ‘CORNISH WINE TASTING’ TO HOST AN EVENING AT THE PINK HOUSE AND THEY GAVE SUCH A RAVE REVIEW, WE HAD TO SHARE THE DETAILS.
Believing a bottle of wine (or two) with friends and family can be one of life’s greatest pleasures, the Cornish Wine Tasting company decided to expand their offering from Cornish vineyard tours, to offer their guests ‘in-house’ wine tasting. Kate shares her passion for all things wine in a really fun, informal way, showcasing a full range of wines from across Cornwall from Camel Valley, Polgoon, Trevibban - and our favourite Knightor. Should you wish, you can also tap into Kate’s expansive wine knowledge and enjoy a wine flight from around the globe. With so many celebrations (from 40th to 80th birthdays) hosted at the house, we are sure she’ll be back again soon.
Whilst The Pink House has the perfect space for this kind of entertaining, for those wishing to delve deeper into Cornish wine making, take a half or full day tour visiting the county’s most prestigious vineyards and wineries. Cornish Wine Tasting will organise everything, so you can even leave the car at home!
